About the Guild

The Longmont Symphony Guild traces its roots back to the 1960s, when a group of music enthusiasts came together with the vision of creating a thriving cultural hub in Longmont. With a commitment to supporting the Longmont Symphony Orchestra, the Guild has since evolved into a dynamic organization that plays a vital role in the local arts scene, with unique and exciting events for all to enjoy!

Supporting LSO Since 1968

Founded in 1968, The Longmont Symphony Guild is dedicated to fundraising for the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. This group provides events designed to benefit both the community and the Symphony. It has consistently provided monetary support to the Symphony and is very proud to have raised over $100,000 in the most recent 10 years, in addition to many thousands of dollars of support since its inception.

Currently there are three main events presented from spring to the end of the year. For many years, the Guild has also provided snacks for the orchestra members at the dress rehearsal for each concert. Additionally, flowers or chocolates are presented to the guest artist at each concert.

The Guild is always ready to welcome new members who are interested in supporting our great Longmont Symphony Orchestra.  For more information contact Susan Massey at 720-371-1511 or the Longmont Symphony Office at 303-772-5796.
